I have been playing the accordion (on and off - mainly off) since 1945.  The first time I played semi-pro was in Gibraltar in 1953-54, while serving in the British Army.

After a long layoff from the accordion, during which I played and taught organ and keyboard, and studied harmonica, I took up the accordion once more after buying a Chinese instrument (Baile). Since then have had a number of instruments, including Parrot, Weltmeister, Hohner, Dallapé, Farfisa, Excelsior. My present instrument is the Roland V-accordion, Model FR-7, which I hope will be the last of the long line.

I also play organ, keyboard, harmonica, melodica,  Qchord, and various ocarinas. My other passion is digital photography.
